URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

SHOWERS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.
TEMPERATURES AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS ARE WARMING AS HIGH PRESSURE
ALOFT MOVES OVER THE AREA AND SNOW LEVELS ARE RISING. THIS HAS
DIMINISHED THE THREAT FOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AT OR NEAR THE
CASCADE PASSES.

SNOW LEVELS HAVE RISEN TO AROUND 5000 FEET AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT
MOVES OVER THE AREA. THIS WARMING OF THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS
COMBINED WITH DECREASING SHOWERS HAS DIMINISHED THE THREAT FOR
ACCUMULATING SNOW AND THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW WILL
EXPIRE AT 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON.
