SATURDAY MORNING...

A VERY MOIST AIRMASS REMAINS IN PLACE OVER THE AREA THROUGH
TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY. AS A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THIS AIRMASS
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND
SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY MORNING.
THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT SHOULD MOVE ACROSS THE AREA AT AROUND 30
MPH. HOWEVER THEY WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAIN RATES OF 2
INCHES OR MORE PER HOUR.

WIDESPREAD RAIN AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT.
THESE RAINS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO CAUSE ANY FLOODING PROBLEMS.
HOWEVER...IF STORMS ARE SLOWER MOVING OR REPEAT OVER THE SAME
LOCATION...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES WOULD BE
POSSIBLE... ALONG WITH A THREAT OF SOME FLASH FLOODING. IF A
SLOWER MOVING STORM WOULD MOVE ACROSS AN URBAN AREA OR CITY...
STREET FLOODING COULD DEVELOP RATHER QUICKLY.

BE ALERT FOR HEAVY DOWN POURS AND PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS WITH
ANY THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT.
