...PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ONE ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS IMPACTING PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN OVERNIGHT...AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAIN AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE BY MORNING. THIS
INCLUDES AREAS FROM DODGE CENTER AND KASSON MINNESOTA...TO
PLAINVIEW AND WABASHA...OVER TO MONDOVI AND OSSEO WISCONSIN.

THIS FIRST ROUND OF STORMS SHOULD BE OVER BY MID-MORNING...AND
THERE WILL BE A BREAK FOR SEVERAL HOURS.

BUT ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG
AND AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. THESE
STORMS MAY PRODUCE HOURLY RAINFALL RATES IN THE EXCESS OF 2
INCHES PER HOUR. RAINFALL RATES THIS HIGH COULD POTENTIALLY RESULT
IN LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS... AND
ALONG SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS.
