...Locally Heavy Rainfall Possible Today into Tonight...

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible today into tonight.
Although rainfall amounts in thunderstorms will be quite
variable, the potential exists for 1 to 2 inches through tonight,
with locally higher amounts possible in areas that receive
repeated thunderstorms. This could lead to localized flash
flooding. In addition, runoff from the rainfall may result in
rises on area rivers and streams which could lead to minor
river flooding over the next few days.

If you live near a river or stream, monitor water levels closely
and be ready to move to higher ground if flooding materializes.
