...Flooding possible along The Root River at Houston...

Forecast rainfall, combined with the already moist soil conditions,
is expected to result in rising water levels. Should this forecast
rainfall materialize, flooding is possible in these areas, though
there is uncertainy with rainfall amounts and location, so keep
up to date with the latest river forecasts.

Root River at Houston...The stage today was  4.69 feet. Flood stage
is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage
Saturday morning, and reach 16.10 feet Saturday evening. This would
result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected thereafter.
