...Flooding possible along The Mississippi River...
For the Mississippi River the following locations are included:
Wabasha...La Crosse...McGregor.

Runoff from melting snow, combined with recent rainfall is
expected to result in rising river levels. The potential exists for
significant rises, which may cause flooding if conditions come
together as expected.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was 8.33 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Sunday, and reach 12.40 feet Tuesday morning. This would result
in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected thereafter.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was 7.24
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above
flood stage Tuesday, and reach 12.20 feet Wednesday morning. This
would result in Minor flooding.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was 10.52
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is expected to reach flood
stage Thursday, March 1st.
