...SOME PONDING POSSIBLE BUT RISK FOR FLOODING IS MINIMAL...

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA DURING THE REST OF
TODAY...AND THROUGH THE NIGHT TONIGHT. RAIN AND SLEET WILL
TRANSITION OVER TO ALL SNOW BY EVENING. THERE WILL EVEN BE SOME
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING. LIQUID PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS OF AS MUCH AS AN
INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH WIDESPREAD AMOUNTS BETWEEN A HALF-INCH
AND THREE-QUARTERS OF AN INCH.

WITH THE GROUND FROZEN AND SNOW PILED UP...LOCAL SEWERS AND DITCHES
MAY HAVE TROUBLE DRAINING THIS WATER. LOCAL PONDING OF WATER ON
ROADS COULD CAUSE A DRIVING HAZARD...ESPECIALLY IN TOWNS AND CITIES.

AT THIS TIME...CREEKS AND RIVERS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO HAVE MUCH OF A
RISE...AND THE FLOODING RISK IS MINIMAL.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST OUTLOOK PERTAINING TO THE FLOODING THREAT FOR
THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
