HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
630 AM CST Tue Dec 27 2016

...Elevated River Levels Along the Black River from Highway 95
Downstream to Lake Arbutus...

River levels continue to slowly climb along the Black River near the
Highway 95 bridge with a possible ice jam forming. While flooding is
not expected, those living near this stretch of the Black River
should be prepared for rising water levels and monitor levels
closely.

River levels upstream at Neillsville have crested, so it is expected
that water levels from Highway 95 toward Lake Arbutus will gradually
fall over the next 24 hours, provided that a significant ice jam
does not develop.
