...Flooding possible along The Black River near Galesville and
the Yellow River near Necedah...


Significant rainfall across the region, combined with the expected
rainfall over the next few days will result in rises along area
streams and rivers for the remainder of this week. If the
expected rainfall occurs, areas along the Black River near
Galesville and the Yellow River near Necedah may rise above flood
stage later this week.


Black River at Galesville...The stage this evening was 6.9 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Friday, and reach 12.8 feet Saturday morning. This would
result in Minor flooding.

Yellow River at Necedah...The stage this evening was 12.4 feet.
Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Friday, and reach 15.8 feet Saturday. This would result in
Minor flooding.
