...Locally Heavy Rainfall Possible this Afternoon and Evening...

Another round of locally heavy rainfall is expected across the
area this afternoon and evening. Widespread rain amount of 0.75 to
1.25 inches are expected. Localized amounts of 2 to 3 inches are
possible. Due to wet soils in many areas, any heavy rain that
falls will be quick to produce run off, raising the risk for
possible flash flooding as well as river flooding.

At this time, where the heaviest rain may fall remains uncertain.
However, if you live near a river or stream, please continue to
monitor rainfall forecasts and water levels closely. Be ready to
move to higher ground if flooding materializes.
