...HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY...

CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING FOR A HEAVY RAIN EVENT THURSDAY INTO
FRIDAY. LOW PRESSURE AND A WARM FRONT PUSHING OUT OF THE CENTRAL
PLAINS TOWARD THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY REGION WILL TAP
REMNANT MOISTURE FROM TROPICAL DEPRESSION BLANCA. THIS WILL SET
THE STAGE FOR HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE AREA. RIGHT NOW IT APPEARS
ANYWHERE FROM 1.5 TO AROUND 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL WILL OCCUR FROM
THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS...POSSIBLY PUSHING INTO THE 3 TO 5 INCH RANGE. WITH
SOME RIVERS ALREADY SOMEWHAT ELEVATED FROM RECENT RAINFALL...
THERE IS A HEIGHTENED CONCERN FOR POSSIBLE FLOODING.

ALTHOUGH CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING ON THE HEAVY RAINFALL...THE
EXACT LOCATION IS STILL YET TO BE DETERMINED. THESE TRENDS WILL
CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED AND THERE MAY BE A NEED FOR FLOOD WATCHES.

STAY ABREAST OF FUTURE FORECASTS FOR UPDATED INFORMATION
CONCERNING THE UPCOMING FLOODING POTENTIAL...ESPECIALLY IF YOU
HAVE INTERESTS ALONG AREA RIVERS.
