...HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING IN TONIGHT WITH FLASH FLOODING
POSSIBLE...

.THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA
TONIGHT. CURRENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE HEAVIEST RAIN...WITH
AMOUNTS OF 1.5 TO 3 INCHES...WILL FALL ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO
CENTRAL WISCONSIN. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR WILL BE
POSSIBLE WHICH COULD PRODUCE SOME LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.
FARTHER TO THE NORTHWEST...RAINFALL AMOUNTS SHOULD NOT BE QUITE
AS HIGH. AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA INTO NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

SINCE THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE OCCURRING DURING THE NIGHT TIME
HOURS...MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT AND STAY TUNED TO LATEST
CONDITIONS...FORECASTS AND UPDATES. POSSIBLE HAZARDS OF THIS
LOCALIZED HEAVIER RAINFALL INCLUDE LOW VISIBILITY AND POSSIBLE
WASHED OUT ROADWAYS. THIS COULD LEAD TO VERY TREACHEROUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS.

* PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
  WISCONSIN...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN NORTHEAST
  IOWA...ALLAMAKEE...CHICKASAW...CLAYTON...FAYETTE...FLOYD...
  HOWARD...MITCHELL AND WINNESHIEK. IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...
  DODGE...FILLMORE...HOUSTON...MOWER...OLMSTED...WABASHA AND
  WINONA. IN WISCONSIN...ADAMS...BUFFALO...CLARK...CRAWFORD...
  GRANT...JACKSON...JUNEAU...LA CROSSE...MONROE...RICHLAND...
  TAYLOR...TREMPEALEAU AND VERNON.

* FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING

* WIDESPREAD STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED.
  THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL FROM NORTHEAST IOWA
  INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS CAN BE EXPECTED
  WHERE THUNDERSTORMS TRAIN OVER THE SAME LOCATIONS OVER A LONGER
  PERIOD. IN THESE AREAS RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR
  COULD OCCUR.

* IF YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL TONIGHT YOU WILL WANT TO STAY ALERT TO
  THE LATEST CONDITIONS AS ROADS MAY BE BECOME WASHED OUT OR
  HAVE WATER FLOWING OVER THEM. VISIBILITY WILL ALSO LIKELY BE
  RESTRICTED FROM THE HEAVY RAINFALL RATES.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
