.ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT...IN ADDITION TO WHAT IS STILL
FALLING AND WHAT IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR...HAS PRODUCED A HIGH FLASH
FLOOD RISK. FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN SOME AREAS AND
ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED. ADDITIONAL WARNINGS ARE
LIKELY TODAY AND TONIGHT.

AS ONE AREA OF STORMS EXITS THE AREA...LOOK FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF
STORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN BACK TO THE WEST. THESE WILL OVERTAKE THE
AREA BY TONIGHT AND DROP AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN. LOCALIZED
RAINFALL 2-DAY TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 7 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE FOR AREAS
THAT SEE REPEATED THUNDERSTORMS.

THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

* PORTIONS OF IOWA...SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN...
  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN IOWA...ALLAMAKEE...
  CHICKASAW...CLAYTON...FAYETTE...FLOYD...HOWARD...MITCHELL AND
  WINNESHIEK. IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...DODGE...FILLMORE...
  HOUSTON...MOWER...OLMSTED...WABASHA AND WINONA. IN WISCONSIN...
   ADAMS...BUFFALO...CLARK...CRAWFORD...GRANT...JACKSON...
  JUNEAU...LA CROSSE...MONROE...RICHLAND...TAYLOR...TREMPEALEAU
  AND VERNON.

* THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING

* AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN ARE FORECAST FOR MOST
  LOCATIONS. LOCALIZED 2-DAY TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 7 INCHES ARE
  POSSIBLE WHERE STORMS TRACK OVER THE SAME AREAS. WITH ALREADY
  WET SOILS...FLOODING WILL DEVELOP RAPIDLY.

* ROADS WILL HAVE WATER OVER THEM AND MUDSLIDES CAN OCCUR. AREA
  DRAINAGE AREAS WILL BE FULL AND COULD FLOOD AGAIN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

THOSE LIVING OR RECREATING NEAR WATERWAYS SHOULD MONITOR LATER
FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD
WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
