THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WINNESHIEK COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN IOWA...

* UNTIL 215 AM CDT

* AT 1008 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND RAIN GAGES INDICATE THAT TWO TO
  THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL AND
  SOUTHERN WINNESHIEK COUNTY. ANOTHER ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE
  WITH ADDITIONAL STORMS THROUGH MIDNIGHT. FLASH FLOODING IS
  EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

  HIGHWAY 52 AND COUNTY W 34...COUNTY ROADS W 20 AND A 34...
  COUNTY ROADS W 14 AND A 34...FESTINA...
  STATE ROAD 9 AND FRANKVILLE ROAD...STATE ROAD 9 AND 290TH STREET...
  COUNTY ROAD W 46 AND CENTENNIAL ROAD AND FRANKVILLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.
