945 AM CDT FOR WEST CENTRAL MOWER COUNTY...

AT 848 AM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED THAT SOME STREET FLOODING
CONTINUES IN THE AUSTIN AREA...THOUGH WATER IS RECEDING AS RAIN HAS BEEN
DIMINISHING. 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS BEEN OBSERVED THUS FAR...WITH
LESS THAN ONE TENTH OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL EXPECTED. LOOK FOR WATER ON
STREETS TO CONTINUE TO RECEDE...WHILE SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS SEE RISES.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE FLOODING UNTIL 945 AM
INCLUDE...
AUSTIN...RAMSEY...MAPLEVIEW AND VARCO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
