...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN JUNEAU...VERNON...RICHLAND AND NORTHEASTERN CRAWFORD
COUNTIES...

At 1250 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported numerous road
closures across the warned area, especially rural county roads.
These closures are due to flooding over them. Meanwhile moderate to
major flooding continues along the Kickapoo River between Ontario
and Readstown.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Richland Center, Viroqua, Westby, Elroy, Hillsboro, Wonewoc,
Stoddard, Coon Valley, La Farge, Clayton, Germantown, Newton,
Springville, Lone Rock, Rockbridge, Viola, Avoca, Ithaca, Soldiers
Grove and Sylvan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
