This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southeast
Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and southwest into central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

South winds gusting 35 to 45 mph are expected today, strongest
across open areas of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa where
a Wind Advisory is in effect.

Some light freezing rain is expected to develop across portions of
southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A prolonged period of wintry precipitation will occur across much
of the area Monday into Tuesday. Precipitation will be mainly in
the form of freezing rain near and north of Interstate 90 on
Monday, with rain farther south. However, as temperatures fall
Monday night into Tuesday, all areas will see freezing rain, with
the potential for significant ice accumulation in some locations.
Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Watches are in effect
for much of the area, with hazardous travel and minor tree damage
possible due to icing. Please visit www.weather.gov/lacrosse for
more detailed information, including maps of expected ice
accumulation.

Wind gust reports would be appreciated today, with ice reports
greatly appreciated Monday and Tuesday.
