.NOW...THROUGH 7 AM...EXPECT LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS TO
OCCUR ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION. SOME SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE
DEVELOPED ALONG THE I-35 CORRIDOR IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA AND SOUTH
CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND ARE EXPECTED TO TRACK TO THE EAST NORTHEAST
OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS INTO NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA. RAINFALL RATES OF 0.01" TO 0.10" PER HOUR IS MAINLY
EXPECTED IN THE LIGHTER RAINFALL AREA WHILE 0.25" PER HOUR IS MORE
LIKELY WHERE THE STORMS OCCUR. SOME VERY SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY
WINDS TO 35 MPH CAN NOT BE RULED OUT WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS AS
WELL.
