...Astronomical Summer was Cooler and Drier than
Average in Rochester Minnesota...

During the astronomical summer of 2017, both temperatures
and rainfall were below average at Rochester International
Airport.

Temperatures -

During astronomical summer, Rochester International Airport
had an average temperature of 66.4 degrees.  This was
1.7 degrees colder than the long-term average of 68.1 degrees.

The average maximum temperature was 76.4 degrees.  This was
2.7 degrees colder than the long-term average of 79.2 degrees.

The average minimum temperature was 56.3 degrees.  This was
0.7 degrees colder than the long-term average of 57.0 degrees.

The hottest temperature was 90 degrees on July 6th.
The coldest high temperature was 59 degrees on September 18th.

The coldest temperature was 40 degrees on September 7th.
The warmest low temperature was 68 degrees on July 21st.
