...DISCUSSION...

JULY 2014 BEGAN SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL THANKS TO A COOL NORTHWESTERLY

JULY 7TH 0.97 INCHES OF RAIN FELL WHICH WAS THE LARGEST ONE DAY
TOTAL FOR THE MONTH. A POTENT COLD FRONT FOR MID JULY KEPT HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 60S ON THE 14TH AND 15TH. AS A RESULT OF THE
BELOW NORMAL HIGHS AND COOL OVERNIGHT LOWS A RECORD AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE WAS SET ON THE 15TH OF 60 DEGREES...WHICH BROKE THE OLD
OLD RECORD OF 61 DEGREES...SET IN 1930. THE END OF THE MONTH HAD
NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES WITH ONE NOTABLE PRECIPITATION DAY...JULY
25TH WHEN 0.44 INCHES FELL.
