...A statement concerning The Upper Iowa River at Decorah...

Local rainfall of 2 to 4 inches this morning has caused rapid rises
on area rivers, streams and creeks. Flooding is expected on
thHowever,e Upper Iowa near Dorchester, but not at Decorah.

Upper Iowa River at Decorah...The stage at 230 pm was  8.62 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.30 feet
Tuesday, which is below flood stage.
