...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing...

Recent and forecast rainfall is expected to result in significant rises
on area rivers, streams, and creeks. However no flooding is expected at
this time. But, should the amount of rain that falls differ significantly
from the forecast amounts, expected river levels will change.
Therefore, caution is advised when using this forecast.

Cedar River at Lansing...No observed stage was available. Flood stage
is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 14.40 feet Saturday
evening, which is below flood stage.
