...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Wabasha...
Lansing...McGregor...Kickapoo River at Readstown...Soldiers Grove...

Recent rainfall and additional forecast rainfall, will cause
rises on area rivers, streams and creeks. However, water levels will
remain below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was 11.2
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river will continue to slowly
fall and drop below 11 feet Monday.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 11.8 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near 12
feet Monday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was 12.74
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to
near 13.3 feet Tuesday, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this morning was  6.26 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near  8.2
feet Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...The stage this morning was  7.6
feet. Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to
near 10.3 feet Monday morning, which is below flood
stage.
