...A statement concerning The Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam...
Forecast rainfall for Wednesday into Thursday on the upper drainage
of the Wisconsin river will cause rises on the Wisconsin river.
Flow releases from Castle Rock Dam will be higher than normal,
but no flooding is expected at this time. But, should the amount of
rain that falls differ significantly from the forecast amounts,
expected river levels will change. Therefore, caution is advised when
using these forecasts.
Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam...The flow this morning was 3307
cubic feet per second. Flooding begins at 30000 cfs. The river is
forecast to reach a flow of 13000 cubic feet per second Saturday
morning, which is below flooding level.
