...A statement concerning The Kickapoo River at Ontario and
La Farge...and the Yellow River at Necedah...

Significant rainfall overnight and in the coming days will result
in rises creeks and rivers in central and southwest Wisconsin...
including the Kickapoo and Yellow Rivers. No flooding is expected at
this time...but water levels will rise to within a few feet of flood
stage.

Here are the latest stages and forecasts. Be sure to watch for later
updates and possible warnings.


Kickapoo River at Ontario...The stage this morning was 9.56 feet.
Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.00 feet
Thursday morning.

Kickapoo River at La Farge...The stage this morning was 3.66 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach around
11 feet Thursday evening.

Yellow River at Necedah...The stage this morning was 10.21 feet.
Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near
the 15 foot flood stage by Sunday.
