...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Charles City...Turtle
Creek at Austin 3NW...

Heavy rain has resulted in significant rises on area rivers, streams
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.


Cedar River at Charles City...The stage this morning was  8.90 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days.

Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...The stage this morning was  8.71 feet.
Flood stage is 10.5 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days.
