...A statement concerning the Yellow and Wisconsin Rivers...

High water continues along the Yellow and Wisconsin Rivers, thanks
to significant rains from December 13th and 14th. Levels are expected
to diminish over the next few days. Here is the latest information
and forecasts.

The Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam...The flow this morning was
11970 cubic feet per second. Flooding begins at 30000 cubic
feet per second. The river is forecast to flucuate between 11000
and 14000 cubic feet per second through Saturday, which is below
flood stage.

The Wisconsin River at Muscoda...The stage this morning was  6.17
feet. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to
fall over the next several days.

Yellow River at Necedah...The stage this morning was 12.37 feet.
Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days.
