...A statement concerning The Kickapoo River at Viola...Readstown...
Soldiers Grove...Gays Mills...and Steuben...

Warm temperatures this weekend will increase runoff from melting snow,
leading to rises on area rivers, streams, and creeks. However, no
flooding is expected at this time.

Kickapoo River at Viola...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 12.1 feet
Sunday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this morning was  5.48 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.3 feet
Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...The stage this morning was  7.0
feet. Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.6
feet Monday, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 11.6 feet
Monday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Steuben...The stage this morning was  8.01 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.8 feet
Tuesday morning, which is below flood stage.
