...A statement concerning the Yellow and Wisconsin Rivers...

High water continues along the Yellow and Wisconsin Rivers, thanks
to significant rains last week. Levels are expected to diminish over
the next few days. Here is the latest information and forecasts.


For the Yellow River at Necedah...The stage Monday morning was
14.03 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to
continue to fall over the next several days.

For the Wisconsin River at Castle Rock Dam...The flow Monday morning
was 15244 cubic feet per second. Flooding begins at 30000 cfs. The
river is forecast to hold steady today at a flow of around 15250
cubic feet per second, with a lowering trend tonight into Tuesday...
taking flows to under 10,000 cfs by Wednesday night.

For the Wisconsin River at Muscoda...The stage Monday morning was
7.10 feet. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue
to fall over the next several days.
