...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...Alma
Dam 4...Winona...La Crosse...Lansing...Guttenberg Dam 10...

The recent heavy rain across the Mississippi River drainage
and its tributaries will bring rising water levels along the Upper
Mississippi River. The expected crest information is listed
below.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this morning was 12.01
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.50
feet Tuesday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage this morning was  9.26
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.50
feet Tuesday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  9.65 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.90 feet
Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was  9.18
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.80
feet Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 10.33 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.00 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was
11.48 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
14.90 feet Friday morning, which is below flood stage.
