...A statement concerning The Kickapoo River at Viola...Readstown...
Soldiers Grove...and Gays Mills...

Heavy rainfall from Tuesday night and Wednesday morning has resulted
in significant rises on area rivers, streams and creeks. However, no
flooding is expected at this time for these locations.

Kickapoo River at Viola...No observed stage was available. The stage
was estimated to be around 11.2 feet this morning. Flood stage is
14.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 11.30 feet today, which
is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this morning was 7.25 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 7.50 feet
this evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...No observed stage was available.
The stage was estimated to be around 9.4 feet this morning. Flood
stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 9.30 feet
today, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills...The stage this morning was 11.73 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days.
