...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Wabasha...Black
River at Black River Falls...Trempealeau River at Dodge...


Heavy rain has resulted in significant rises on area rivers, streams
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Additional rainfall is expected Thursday night into Saturday morning...
which is expected to keep river and stream levels higher in the area.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was 9.14 feet.
flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.40 feet
Monday evening...which is below flood stage.

Black River at Black River Falls...The stage this morning was 40.78
feet. flood stage is 47.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 44.40
feet Thursday morning...which is below flood stage.

Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage this morning was 6.68 feet.
flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 7.30 feet
