...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing and Osage...

Very heavy rainfall of 3 to 5 inches overnight is resulting in
significant rises along the Cedar River and its tributaries. For the
main Cedar River itself, the river is expected to remain below flood
stage at this time. The latest forecast information is provided
below.

Heavy rain has resulted in significant rises on area rivers, streams
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 13.09 feet. Flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 15.00 feet
tonight.

Cedar River at Osage...No observed stage was available. Flood stage
is 22.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 21.50 feet this
evening.
