...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...


THE COMBINATION OF RAINFALL AND SNOW MELT OVER A WEEK AGO IS CAUSING
RISES ON THE WISCONSIN RIVER. FLOW RELEASES FROM CASTLE ROCK DAM WILL
BE HIGHER THAN NORMAL...BUT NO FLOODING IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...THE FLOW THIS MORNING WAS 10860
CFS. FLOODING BEGINS AT 30000 CFS. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO FALL
BELOW 10000 CFS THIS EVENING...WHICH IS BELOW FLOODING LEVEL.
