...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing...and Osage...

Heavy rainfall from Tuesday night and Wednesday morning has resulted
in significant rises on area rivers, streams and creeks. However, no
flooding is expected at this time.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 14.27 feet. Flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall over
the next several days.

Cedar River at Osage...The stage this morning was 21.40 feet. Flood
stage is 22.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall over
the next several days.
