...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...
Wabasha...

Heavy rainfall over eastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin will
cause significant rises on the Mississippi River. However, no flooding is
expected at this time.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this morning was  7.3
feet. Flood stage is 16 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.6
feet Tuesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was  7.5 feet.
Flood stage is 12 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.9 feet
Tuesday morning, which is below flood stage.
