...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...



THE COMBINATION OF RAINFALL AND SNOW MELT IN RECENT DAYS IS CAUSING
RISES ON THE WISCONSIN RIVER. FLOW RELEASES FROM CASTLE ROCK DAM WILL
BE HIGHER THAN NORMAL...BUT NO FLOODING IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.


WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...THE FLOW THIS EVENING WAS 10817
CFS. FLOODING BEGINS AT 30000 CFS. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH
14000 CFS WEDNESDAY MORNING...WHICH IS BELOW FLOODING LEVEL.
