...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT LAKE CITY
DOWNSTREAM TO GUTTENBERG DAM 10...

RUNOFF FROM MELTING SNOW OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS...AS WELL AS RECENT
RAINFALL...IS RESULTING IN HIGH WATER ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
MOST OF THE LOCAL AREA HAS SEEN ITS CREST...AND RIVER LEVELS ARE
BEGINNING A SLOW FALL. THE ONLY LOCATION THROUGH THIS AREA THAT WILL
BE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE IS THE MCGREGOR AREA. SEE THE LATEST FLOOD
STATEMENT /MKEFLSARX/ FOR INFORMATION ON THAT AREA.

AT LAKE CITY...THE STAGE SUNDAY MORNING WAS 13.12 FEET. FLOOD STAGE
IS 16.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

AT WABASHA...THE STAGE SUNDAY MORNING WAS 11.48 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS
12.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

AT ALMA DAM 4...THE STAGE SUNDAY MORNING WAS 10.33 FEET. FLOOD STAGE
IS 16.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

AT WINONA...THE STAGE SUNDAY MORNING WAS 11.45 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS
13.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT

AT LA CROSSE...THE STAGE SUNDAY MORNING WAS 10.82 FEET. FLOOD STAGE
