...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...
Wabasha...Alma Dam 4...Winona...La Crosse...Lansing...McGregor...
Guttenberg Dam 10...

Heavy rainfall over eastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin will
cause significant rises on the Mississippi River. However, no flooding
is expected at this time.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this morning was  9.21
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.20
feet Tuesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was  8.56 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.70 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage this morning was  5.92
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.90
feet Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  6.56 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.60 feet
Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was  6.40
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.10
feet Friday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was  8.79 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.40 feet
Sunday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was  8.32
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.30
feet Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was
6.61 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
11.00 feet Monday morning, which is below flood stage.
