...High Water Continues Along the Mississippi River...

.High water continues along the Mississippi river due to rain that
fell December 13th and 14th. This is record high water for this
time in December. No additional flooding is expected...and here are
the latest stages and forecasts.

For locations from Lake City, Minnesota, downstream through La
Crosse and Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, water levels were falling
and were now several feet below flood stage.

At McGregor...The stage this morning was 13.99 feet. Flood stage is
16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.20 feet this evening,
which is below flood stage.

At Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was 12.51 feet. Flood
stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.60 feet today,
which is below flood stage.
