...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing...Dobbins Creek
at Austin 2NE...South Branch Root River at Lanesboro...Turkey River
at Spillville...Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76...

Recent and forecast rainfall has resulted in significant rises on
area rivers, streams and creeks. No flooding is expected at these
locations at this time, however, some uncertainty exists with the
forecast amount of rainfall, so use these forecasts with caution.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage this morning was  9.35 feet. Flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 15.20 feet
Saturday, which is below flood stage.

Dobbins Creek at Austin 2NE...The stage this morning was  7.61 feet.
Flood stage is 11.5 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.10 feet
this evening, which is below flood stage.

South Branch Root River at Lanesboro...The stage this morning was
2.19 feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
10.50 feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage.

Turkey River at Spillville...The stage this morning was  2.75 feet.
Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  7.00 feet
Saturday evening, which is below flood stage.

Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76...The stage this morning was
7.74 feet. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
11.50 feet Sunday morning, which is below flood stage.
