...A statement concerning The Trempealeau River at Dodge...

Recent precipitation continues to provide relatively high water along
the Trempealeau River in and around the Dodge area. Combined with the
cold temperatures, ice has been forming and moving through the river
channel. Due to ice action and the higher water levels, water levels
may rise to within a few feet of flood stage.

Persons with interest along the river in this area should monitor
the latest conditions.

For the Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage Friday morning was
7.56 feet. Flood stage is 9 feet. The river is forecast to remain
between 7 and 8 feet through the weekend and into next week.
