...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing...Osage...
Charles City...Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...

Runoff from melting snow and recent rainfall, has caused rises
along area streams, creeks and rivers. However, water levels will
remain below flood stage.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 14.8 feet. Flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near 15.1 feet
this evening, which is below flood stage.

Cedar River at Osage...The stage this morning was 19.7 feet. Flood
stage is 22.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near 20.4 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Cedar River at Charles City...The stage this morning was 7.7 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near 9.6
feet Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...The stage this morning was 8.9 feet.
Flood stage is 10.5 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
and drop below 7 feet Thursday.
