...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...


THE COMBINATION OF RAINFALL AND RUNOFF FROM SNOW MELT IN
RECENT DAYS IS CAUSING RISES ON THE WISCONSIN RIVER. FLOW RELEASES
FROM CASTLE ROCK DAM WILL BE HIGHER THAN NORMAL...BUT NO FLOODING IS
EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.


WISCONSIN RIVER AT CASTLE ROCK DAM...THE FLOW THIS MORNING WAS 11261
CFS. FLOODING BEGINS AT 30000 CFS. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH
18000 CFS WEDNESDAY EVENING...WHICH IS BELOW FLOODING LEVEL.
