...A statement concerning The Turkey River at Elkader...and Garber...
and the Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76...

Forecast precipitation is expected to cause rises on area rivers,
streams, and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Turkey River at Elkader...The stage this morning was  9.99 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.20 feet
Thursday evening, which is below flood stage.

Turkey River at Garber...The stage this morning was 12.19 feet. Flood
stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.70 feet Friday
morning, which is below flood stage.

Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76...The stage this morning was
9.15 feet. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
11.20 feet Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.
