...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...
Wabasha...Alma Dam 4...Winona...La Crosse...Lansing...McGregor...
Guttenberg Dam 10...

The recent heavy rains that fell across the Mississippi river
drainage in Minnesota, along with the rainfall from this weekend,
will bring rising water levels along the upper Mississippi
River over the next 4 to 7 days. However, no flooding is expected
at this time.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this morning was 10.81
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.40
feet Thursday evening, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was  9.84 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.70 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage this morning was  7.85
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.10
feet Thursday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  8.27 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.10 feet
Friday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was  7.97
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.60
feet Friday, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was  9.86 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.00 feet
Sunday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was  9.95
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.00
feet Sunday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was
8.82 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
11.70 feet Sunday morning, which is below flood stage.
