...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lansing...Cedar
River at Austin...

Recent heavy rainfall has resulted in significant rises on area
rivers, streams and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this
time.

Cedar River at Austin...The stage this morning was  6.50 feet. Flood
stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.50 feet Tuesday
morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was  8.98 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days.
