...A statement concerning The Kickapoo River at La Farge...Viola...
Readstown...Soldiers Grove...Gays Mills...Steuben...Trempealeau River
at Arcadia...Dodge...

Heavy rain has resulted in significant rises on area rivers, streams
and creeks. No flooding is expected at this time at these locations,
but some uncertainty exists with the amount of rain that will fall
overnight. Should more rain fall than is forecast, some of these
locations could reach higher levels, including flooding levels, so
use these forecasts with caution.

Kickapoo River at La Farge...The stage yesterday evening was  3.82
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.00
feet Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Viola...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 13.70 feet
Thursday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this morning was  6.34 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.90 feet
Friday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...No observed stage was available.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 11.70 feet
Friday, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 11.80 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Steuben...The stage this morning was  8.84 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.90 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage.

Trempealeau River at Arcadia...The stage yesterday evening was  4.26
feet. Flood stage is 8.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  6.40
feet Thursday, which is below flood stage.

Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage this morning was  7.18 feet.
Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  8.90 feet
Friday, which is below flood stage.
