...River Rises Occurring Across the Region...

Heavy rainfall from Monday evening is resulting in significant
rises on some area rivers, streams, and creeks. However, no
flooding is expected at this time. Below is a look at forecast
river stages:


Black River at Black River Falls...The stage yesterday evening was
41.15 feet. Flood stage is 47.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
43.70 feet Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage yesterday evening was 13.42 feet.
Flood stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.60 feet
this evening, which is below flood stage.

Cedar River at Charles City...The stage this morning was  6.72 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.10 feet
Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...The stage this morning was  8.26 feet.
Flood stage is 10.5 feet. The river is forecast to reach  8.50 feet
today, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this morning was  6.80 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  8.30 feet
Wednesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...No observed stage was available.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to  9.60 feet
Wednesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 10.70 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Steuben...The stage yesterday evening was  8.69
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.00
feet Wednesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage yesterday evening was  7.13
feet. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  8.20
feet Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.
