...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...
Wabasha...Alma Dam 4...Winona...La Crosse...Lansing...McGregor...
and Guttenberg Dam 10...

Forecast rainfall and melting snow, combined with ground that may be
saturated or frozen, are expected to cause rises on area rivers, streams,
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage today was  7.43 feet.
Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.9 feet
next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was  7.56 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.8 feet
Sunday evening, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage today was  5.47 feet.
Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.2 feet
next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  6.02 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.5 feet
next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage today was  6.53 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.4 feet
next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage today was  8.40 feet. Flood
stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.3 feet next
Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was  9.29
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.1
feet next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage today was  8.13
feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.8
feet next Monday morning, which is below flood stage.
