...A statement concerning The Turkey River at Elkader...Garber...

Local rainfall of 2 to 4 inches this morning has caused rapid rises
on area rivers, streams and creeks. However, no flooding is expected
at this time along the Turkey.

Turkey River at Elkader...The stage at 230 pm was  7.01 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.40 feet
Tuesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Turkey River at Garber...The stage at 230 pm was  7.94 feet.
Flood stage  is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.40 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.
