...A statement concerning The Black River at Black River Falls...
and Galesville...

Melting snow and ice are expected to cause rises on area rivers, streams,
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Black River at Black River Falls...The stage this evening was 37.39
feet. Flood stage is 47.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 44.60
feet Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.

Black River at Galesville...The stage this evening was  5.77 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.80 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage.
