HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS HAS RESULTED IN SIGNIFICANT
RISES ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE RIVER IS NEARING OR HAS REACHED
ITS CREST AND WILL FALL OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. NO FLOODING IS EXPECTED
AT THESE LOCATIONS.

AT LAKE CITY...THE STAGE THURSDAY MORNING WAS 15.64
FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET. THE RIVER CRESTED AT 16.0 FEET
WEDNESDAY. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

AT ALMA DAM 4...THE STAGE THURSDAY MORNING WAS 13.47
FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REMAIN
STEADY THURSDAY...THEN BEGIN TO FALL OVERNIGHT.

AT LANSING...THE STAGE THURSDAY MORNING WAS 16.32 FEET.
FLOOD STAGE IS 17.0 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH 16.40 FEET
THURSDAY...WHICH IS BELOW FLOOD STAGE.
