...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...
Wabasha...

Heavy rain upstream is expected to result in significant rises on
area rivers, streams, and creeks. However, no flooding is expected
at this time.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this evening was  8.38
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.00
feet Tuesday, October 11th, which is below flood stage. Additional
rises are possible in the following days.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this evening was  8.25 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.60 feet
Tuesday, October 11th, which is below flood stage. Additional
rises are possible in the following days.
