...A statement concerning The Cedar River at Lansing...and Charles
City...and Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...

Forecast rainfall and melting snow, combined with ground that may be
saturated or frozen, are expected to cause rises on area rivers, streams,
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Cedar River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 11.96 feet. Flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.8 feet
Tuesday night, which is below flood stage.

Cedar River at Charles City...The stage this morning was  6.46 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  9.4 feet
Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Turtle Creek at Austin 3NW...The stage this morning was  4.55 feet.
Flood stage is 10.5 feet. The river is forecast to reach  7.2 feet
Tuesday evening, which is below flood stage.
