...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE CEDAR RIVER AT LANSING AND TURTLE
CREEK AT AUSTIN 3NW...

RECENT RUNOFF CAUSED INCREASED WATER LEVELS ALONG THE CEDAR RIVER
AND TURTLE CREEK.  ALTHOUGH WATER LEVELS HAVE GONE DOWN THE PAST FEW
DAYS...ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THORUGH THE AREA IN THE NEXT
24-36 HOURS.  PRECIPITATION FROM THIS STORM WILL LIKELY RESULT IN
RENEWED RISES ON AREA CREEKS AND RIVERS. HOWEVER...NO FLOODING IS
EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

HERE ARE THE LATEST PROJECTIONS IF PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS FALL AS
FORECAST...

CEDAR RIVER AT LANSING...THE STAGE THIS MORNING WAS 11.03 FEET. FLOOD
STAGE IS 18 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO REACH A CREST BETWEEN
14 AND 14.5 FEET BY SATURDAY.

TURTLE CREEK AT AUSTIN 3NW...THE STAGE THIS MORNING WAS 4.10 FEET.
FLOOD STAGE IS 10.5 FEET. THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE TO
BETWEEN 7 AND 7.5 FEET BY SATURDAY.
