...A STATEMENT CONCERNING THE TURKEY RIVER AT ELKADER AND GARBER...

RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL RESULTED IN SIGNIFICANT RISES ON THE TURKEY RIVER.
HOWEVER...THE RIVER HAS SINCE CRESTED AND WILL CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS.

THE STAGE WEDNESDAY MORNING WAS 10.67 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 12.0 FEET.
THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

THE STAGE WEDNESDAY MORNING WAS 15.41 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 17.0 FEET.
THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO FALL OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
