...A statement concerning The Kickapoo River at Viola...Readstown...
Soldiers Grove...Gays Mills...Steuben...

Forecast rainfall and melting snow, combined with ground that may be
saturated or frozen, are expected to cause rises on area rivers, streams,
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Kickapoo River at Viola...No observed stage was available. Flood
stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 12.70 feet
Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this evening was  6.09 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.70 feet
Wednesday, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove...No observed stage was available.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 11.90 feet
Wednesday evening, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills...The stage this morning was  8.45 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.70 feet
Thursday morning, which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Steuben...The stage this evening was  8.22 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.50 feet
Friday morning, which is below flood stage.
